Poems inspired by Spring and Summer

"How many diverse projects in the world we can find on the Behance platform, but something seems to be missing... Ah! Maybe poems! Sylvie and I decided to correct this omission! We are therefore very happy to present to you the new project "Poem", in which every amateur or poet can demonstrate their talents and express subtle emotions and deep thoughts in a beautifully structured form.
Poems of our own production are accepted for publication, each of them must have a photo or drawing that constitutes the cover of the poem. In addition to the cover, each poem must contain the information First and Last Name of the author of the poem, Country, and may additionally contain information on the age of the author (this is more for younger authors, but not necessarily). Last name and first name of the author of the photo or drawing and country of origin of the author of the cover, if the author of the cover is different.

The works must be written or translated into English and can be duplicated in the original language, it is important that they must be on the topic of the project and dedicated to one of the seasons according to the project.
Famous songs and poems by other authors will not be published. Poems that are not related to the topic of the project or that contain profanity or that offend the feelings of believers are not published. The authors of the project, as editors, reserve the right not to publish poems that they did not like for other reasons, about which an answer will be given to the author of the poem. The poem should be no more than 32 lines.
So.. Everyone can try their hand at a poetry project! Poetry teaches you to express your thoughts in a beautiful form that is easy to remember, so if you want to take part in the poetry project, write concisely and to the point, Sylvie and I will answer you!"

"New Life"

A newborn kitten’s first cry
The mother cat gently kisses,
To a small white life.

The birth of life is always,
A shinning miracle.
For humans, flowers, and even insects,
It’s a moment that fills us with glee.

The powers of life is indeed mysterious,
Some seeds ride the wind and fly away.
Some insects fight to the death,
To spin their cocoons, or hide away.

The mother cat gently kisses,
To a small white life,
In our human hearts,
There are many seeds of life.

The birth of life is always,
A shining miracle, inexplicable.
That, we should never forget in our hearts.

- Masakazu Kurita

Rose

Summer sunshine, be smiling and shinning,
Beautiful and vibrant.

Summer breeze, be adorning in petals,
Bright and vivid.

Sweet fragrance, be swaying in the summer,
Shining life, trembling in praise from the birds.

- Masakazu

Winter is back
And Spring has come
Colours are splashed
With shiny bright Sun
Birds are chirping and
Bees are buzzing
Leaves are budding..
Cheering up everyone
O’.. let’s dance and sing
As Spring has sprung
Spring Has Sprung

Summer

Days Are Long And
The Sun Is Bright
The Sky Is Blue With
Blazing Sunlight
It Sweats A Lot
And Sometimes Exhausts
But Then Enters A Cool Breeze
And Freshness Restocks

Summer Teaches Us...

There Is Always A Hope
But Only We Get It
After A Hard Cope

"Seasons change, winter fades, darkness turns to light
Flowers bloom, yellow, green, insects full of life.

Sun bright, petals white, reflecting in the sky
Time stands still to catch a glimpse, of a beautiful butterfly."
- Alan & Carolina Borda

Summer

Summer breeze on wave crests glistening in the sun, shadows and
light dance together, playing, having fun, the distant sound of a
sirens song, helps us find our way, to say a prayer and give thanks
and great another day.

The Sun

The sun is especially visible in summer. But he can always be near us, in us, even in complicated moments. Some people radiate like the sun and bring warmth and comfort and a lot of happiness. You have to know how to appreciate being at their side.

🌙

The Night Owl

After a warm night full of singing and wine
the night owl was on his way home.

He welcomed a shortcut through the moor,
until a junction made him dizzy.

In the moonlight the brightest birch showed him the correct direction,
on which he avoided the moor spirit's sighting.

SPRING

THE SOLAR GODS POPULATED THE SOUL
OF YOUR IRIS,
GIVING BIRTH TO THE INFININTE
AROMAS OF LIVE.
FLOWER, SONG, BRIGHT INSECT IN THE MORNING,
I ABSORB YOUR NEWBORN CRYSTAL.
I SEARCHED ONE NIGHT FOR YOUR FACE IN MY OWN MIRROR
AND I SAW THAT HE HAD WOKEN UP AGAIN.
THAT’S WHY MY SPRING IS THE SAME ENERGY
THAT BEATS IN EVERY LIVING BEING.
THE GOLDEN REFLECTIONS IN THE WATER OF THE HOURS
THEY ARE THE REVELATION
OF OUR HOME,
OUR ROOT.

SUMMER

One morning I woke up, and I was traveling.
On one side the Sea,
On the other a deep, bluish darkness.
Up the dream of the Sun,
An iris about to be born in the immensity
Of the Universe.

Below, our feet,
Suddenly perched on the white sand,
Almost floating, barely revealed.

Four cardinal points
Rotating between your heart and mine,
Marine and stellar moebius
That comes and goes forever,
It passes through us, it guides us
Through boats, wings or thoughts.

The shore then catches us
With its silence of foam and wind,
Hair of the ages, the hours,
The song or roar of life.

Compass, North Star unfolded
Between the underground and the heights:

Like a mirage,
From childhood of golden lips
Come on, between waves,
Sapphire salt and polyhedral cloud,
Passing in the amazement of the cycles.

SPRING BREAK

Winter’s mantle
Hides
Spring’s rehearsal beneath

A quiet building of
Energetic enthusiasm
To break free
Of earthly bounds

The bear from her den
Sniffs the air
And knows it is time
To shed her winter clothes

A kaleidoscopic symphony
Erupts, kissing the ground goodbye
As photosynthetic marvels
Spring forth abundantly

Tulips heralding REBIRTH!

Jimm Hughey, M.S.

Lessons from the Lucky Dogs of Summer

You hear his joyful bursts
Bounding up and down the sandy edge
Surf nipping at his heels

His running screams 'freedom'
As he races to the rhythm of the tide
Seagulls scurrying before his laughing bark

If only you and I were as carefree as he

He only knows this moment
This moment of unfettered joy
He has no yesterday nor tomorrow
Nothing to impede his timeless bliss

The lucky dogs of summer
Are here to teach us
How to BE

Yet how few of us truly embrace its joys?
